Please note: We have a temporary hold on community service volunteers
Volunteer at Habitat
Our organization relies on the efforts of more than 500 volunteers annually to carry out our mission. Join us as we work towards the day everyone has a decent place to call home. We have volunteer opportunities for all interests and abilities, both on and off the construction sites!

We love volunteer groups! Pull together your friends, family, or associates and have fun making a difference in our local community. No construction skills are necessary; we welcome you whether you have years of experience or have never swung a hammer. Our staff will provide all training, materials, safety equipment, and supervision during your build day.
Group Builds typically consist of 5 to 10 volunteers working on our construction site, helping us create our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Please note: We have a minimum requirement of 5 volunteers to ensure a safe, fun, and productive day on site. Construction volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. We also require one adult chaperon for every five volunteers between the ages of 16 - 18.
Group Builds are typically scheduled from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm on a Friday or Saturday. However, we are more than happy to explore other options and make every effort to accommodate your preferred schedule.
While there is no financial obligation associated with a Group Build, donations are encouraged. In addition to volunteer labor, we still need financial support to build and renovate homes.
Ready to build safe, decent, and affordable homes with your group?

Habitat provides the ultimate team-building experience for companies and organizations! Teams of all sizes can engage their members and encourage stronger relationships while learning new skills. Volunteers do not need any prior experience, just a willingness to learn and have fun! Our staff will provide all training, materials, safety equipment, and supervision during your build day.
Team Builds typically consist of 10 to 20 volunteers. If you are interested in having over 20 volunteers, please contact us. Construction volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. We also require one adult chaperon for every five volunteers between the ages of 16 - 18.
Team Builds are typically scheduled from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm on a Friday or Saturday. Builds may be scheduled as single or consecutive days. We are more than happy to explore any days/times and make every effort to accommodate your preferred schedule.
It takes a lot of resources to keep a Habitat build site running smoothly and even more resources to complete a Habitat home. We ask your team to match your volunteer impact with a financial contribution to help cover our cost to host volunteers, including to train + supervise volunteers, buy building materials for your build day and arrange a meaningful and impactful volunteer experience for your team. All donations are fully tax deductible.
Giving levels and accompanying benefits vary based on the size of the financial contribution. Funds can be raised by individuals, companies, or through matching funds and other grants.
Ready to make a tangible impact in the community while strengthening your team?
