Position Title:  Seasonal ReStore Associate

Department:    ReStore

Reports to:   ReStore Manager (RM)

Designation:    Part Time, Non-exempt, Hourly, Seasonal

Hours & pay:    25-30 hours per week starting at $18/hour on a flexible schedule as directed by ReStore Management, Saturdays and some holidays are a must.

Position Summary: This is a seasonal position that involves assisting with all aspects of daily ReStore operations including customer service, donor relations, day-to-day store tasks and supervision of ReStore volunteers

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist customers as needed & receive donations in-store

• Serve as a backup cashier when necessary

• Accompany ReStore Driver on donation truck when necessary to assist with loading and unloading items

• Support ReStore staff with safety, setup, neatness, and general maintenance of the store

• Move merchandise to and from ReStore sales areas

• Provide direction and guidance to volunteers keeping them on-task and engaged

• Completes all other duties and projects as directed by ReStore Management

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise volunteers

 

Qualifications:

• Present a positive and neat image to donors, customers and volunteers.  

• Ability to work independently in a time efficient and motivated manner

• Comfortable navigating and utilizing computer systems

• Ability to deadlift 100 lbs   

• Ability to lift 50 lbs overhead
